Insights into delayed deliveries, extended routing conditions and more in MailerQ 5.5
We are excited to announce the latest version of MailerQ - version 5.5 - which includes improved insights into deliveries that are scheduled to be retried, as well as new powerful ways of matching messages in the Rewrite Rules, and several performance enhancements. A closer look at the biggest improvements in MailerQ 5.5:
Better insights in delayed deliveries
Sometimes, messages cannot be delivered right away and need to be retried at a later point. Until now, it was possible to see the number of messages to be retried in RabbitMQ. With this release, we’ve made these statistics available in the MailerQ Management Console in a user-friendly format.
Besides this, we now also show statistics of the delayed deliveries per domain and per tag, and the reasons why deliveries are delayed are shown in a new widget.
Support for Rewrite Rule conditions based on message properties
Rewrite Rules can be used to dynamically reroute messages. In previous versions, it was already possible to modify deliveries based on IP, domain and/or tag. In MailerQ 5.5 you can set Rewrite Rules based on even more conditions, namely all properties available in the injected message JSON such as the from address, injection IP or subject line.
Besides this, we have added two new actions for IP Pools to the Rewrite Rules and we introduced several performance improvements in the management console and in the back-end. For a complete list of all the changes, please consult the release notes.
We advise and encourage all users to upgrade to the new version. If you are upgrading from the previous version, please read the upgrade and downgrade instructions.
